These wild turkeys are seen nearly daily from the cabin. They're gorgeous to observe from afar.

Mostly in the Spring and Summer, you'll see mule deer wandering around... often bedding down on the hillside beneath the cabin.

These "mulies", as locals call them, love to nibble on the bushes and trees around the cabin. If you're quiet and slow to move, you can snap their photos quite easily.
